Privacy Policy - Marsh Mallards

Last updated: 8 October 2026. Applies to the Marsh Mallards app (version 1.6.2 and later, until this page is updated) and to the web version on this website.

Short version: Marsh Mallards collects no personal data. No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking. The app makes no network requests.

What the game does with data

• Game progress (coins, upgrades, scores, stars, Journal entries, settings and your daily-challenge streak) is saved only on your device, in the game's local storage. It is never sent to us or to anyone else.
• The game does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, location, photos, files or advertising identifier. It only uses the clipboard when you tap the button to copy your result, and then it only copies that text.
• The app makes no network connections. On Android it does not even ask for the Internet permission.
• Sounds are recordings bundled with the game or are generated on the device. Haptics only vibrate your phone.

Third parties

The game contains no third-party code for ads, analytics, crash reporting or payments.

• App stores: Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play) may collect their own data when you download the app, under their own privacy policies.
• Website: the web version and this page are hosted by a web host (for example Cloudflare Pages). Like any web server, the host may process technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect against abuse, under its own privacy policy. We do not add analytics or cookies.

Children

The game has no chat, no user-generated content and no links out of the app. It is a general-audience game rated 13+ and is not directed at children under 13. It collects nothing about any player.

Keeping and deleting data

Because nothing is sent to us, there is nothing for us to keep or delete. You can erase your progress at any time with Settings > "Reset all progress", by uninstalling the app, or (web version) by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Future changes

If a future version adds ads or purchases, we will update this policy and the store privacy labels before that version is released. Any tracking would only happen with your clear permission (for example Apple App Tracking Transparency, or a consent form where the law requires it).
